Our healthcare center features 120 beds, with private and semi-private rooms available. All beds are Medicare- and Medicaid-certified. Services for residents living in our skilled nursing, long-term care center include nursing staff available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Meals are prepared in our spacious kitchen, with attention to individual dietary needs. Dining is made special by table settings and services comparable to a fine restaurant.

We have a full-time chaplain on staff who encourages residents to remain active in their spiritual lives. Our chapel, a very important area of the campus, is available to many denominations for church services. Our chaplain welcomes time spent with residents, staff and families who may have need of pastoral services.

. Our activities are balanced to provide everyone with opportunities to enjoy social, physical and spiritual activities at various levels of participation. We are very active with local community groups, churches, schools and other volunteers. Intergenerational activities are an important part of our programming. Holidays are always a special family time for those who live here, with special activities and holiday parties keeping everyone busy.

The Hope Special Care Unit is a dynamic example of the specialized care we provide. With 19 beds and a closed environment, residents with various levels of dementia are cared for within a family setting. Familiar, structured activities are planned to meet the special needs of these residents. Family-style dining and leisure areas encourage interaction with other residents and staff. A secured outdoor courtyard has a wander garden, a glider swing, flowers and patio furniture to provide a pleasant place to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air with family, staff and other visitors.

Our rehabilitation program offers both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and assistance with visual and other rehab needs. Wellness is an approach we encourage and our Nautilus Vigor equipment is especially designed for geriatric use. Results have been impressive and our list of successful graduates grows consistently. The new Wii is proving beneficial for improving balance and upper body strengthening.

The new physical fitness room, located in the ALF, is available for independent seniors and staff 3 times a week with an occupational therapy practioner and personal trainer leading the classes.

Having a history of more than 30 years of caring for God's elderly in the Daytona Beach area, we are very proud of our stability and presence in the community.

With all that we have to offer and the care we provide, we are happy to say Good Samaritan Society – Daytona feels like home, where In Christ's Love, Everyone Is Someone.
