Independent Living

Mease Manor is a beautiful nine-story high-rise community with many resources available to its residents. In addition, the City of Dunedin offers great opportunities for shopping, dining, sightseeing, recreation, and the arts. Close proximity to shopping centers and health care makes Mease Manor's location ideal.

Residency at Mease Manor includes a package of monthly services designed to complement a wide variety of interests and lifestyles. Without the burden of home maintenance and daily chores, Mease Manor residents are free to explore every facet of their retirement! We offer residents a choice of two residency agreements - the membership agreement and the annual lease program. Both options offer the same great package of monthly services and include access to on-site health care if needed. Additional services are offered on a "fee-for-service" basis.

Membership Agreement
This option offers lifetime residency at Mease Manor even if you become unable to pay your monthly service fee. Residents choosing the membership agreement pay a one-time membership fee, based on the selected floor plan, and a low monthly service fee. Those choosing the membership agreement are provided priority access to on-site health care should the need arise.

Annual Lease Program
This option offers a standard yearly lease and does not require a membership fee. Although no lifetime residency guarantee is offered through the annual lease program, access to on-site health care service is available.

Resident Services - Independent Living

Mease Manor is proud to offer the following resident services in the all inclusive monthly service package:


* All utilities, including electricity, water, and standard cable television.
* Local telephone service with emergency call system.
* Twenty meals per month with additional meals available.
* Weekly housekeeping services including flat linens and towels.
* Scheduled transportation with day and evening excursions.
* Apartment maintenance.
* Notary services.
* Reserved parking.
* Complete social, recreational, and educational program schedule.
* Safety program, including smoke detectors and sprinkler systems throughout the apartments and building.
* Residents Association membership.
* 24-hour emergency medical assistance.
