Advent Christian Village is a unique intergenerational community with a rich heritage and a dynamic future. Founded in 1913, Advent Christian Village is the oldest retirement community in Florida. But don’t let our age fool you, we are dedicated to remaining on the leading edge, providing quality, comprehensive services with compassion—and that commitment drives everything we do. We are located on 1,200 breathtaking acres of woodlands and scenic landscapes overlooking the historic Suwannee River. In this special place, Advent Christian Village members enjoy enduring friendships, a sense of security, a continuum of care, country living with the conveniences and charm of a small town—and the unique spirit of a warm, caring community. Advent Christian Village does not charge an entrance fee.

Advent Christian Village is an accredited, comprehensive retirement community offering home ownership, rental housing, assisted living, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care. In addition to the natural beauty of the campus, Advent Christian Village—or “ACV†if you prefer—also has a wide array of amenities, such as a modern wellness and community center, new outpatient medical center, charming shops, around-the-clock emergency services, supportive services, engaging activities, comfortable guest lodging, and much more.

There is an array of activities in which to be involved. Opportunities to volunteer abound. Countless recreational, spiritual, social, cultural and educational pursuits provide meaningful pastimes for virtually every taste.
At the heart of the campus is the Village Church, with an active, caring congregation made up of individuals from many denominations joining in unison to worship and to serve.
At the Village Square, the Post Office, grocery store, specialty shops and a delightful offer convenience and enhance the hometown charm of this special community.
The Village Lodge features excellent accommodations for family and friends when they visit.
Copeland Community Center is our wellness center, giving members a place for exercise, recreation, social interaction and more.
